We’re excited to host THREE Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship Qualifiers (RCQs) for Season 5 – Round 2!

These are Premier Competitive events, and the champion of each RCQ will earn an invitation to compete in a $100,000 Magic Regional Championship!

These events have limited seating, so please register ahead of time. A minimum of 8 players is required for an RCQ to launch.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
All three of our RCQs are Sealed and are run as Premier Competitive events under the Magic Tournament Rules.

Players will receive their Sealed product, build their deck and compete in the required rounds based on attendance.

For Limited RCQs, the playoff portion is a Booster Draft Top 8 unless there are exactly 8 players.

ROUND STRUCTURE:
Exactly 8 Players
• 3 Single-Elimination Rounds
• No separate playoff
9–16 Players
• 4 Swiss Rounds
• Booster Draft Top 8
17–32 Players
• 5 Swiss Rounds
• Booster Draft Top 8

Note: The number of rounds is determined by the Magic Tournament Rules and cannot be changed by the store.

IMPORTANT PLAYER INFORMATION
Advance registration is required one week prior to event.
Minimum attendance is 8 players. An RCQ cannot launch with fewer than 8.
These are Premier Competitive events, so players should expect a more structured competitive tournament environment than our regular weekly events.
Please arrive between 11:30-11:50 for check-in. Tournament play begins promptly at 12:00 PM.
Players who have already qualified during Season 5 – Round 2 ARE permitted to play in LGS RCQs.
You do not need a Melee.gg account simply to participate in our RCQ. However, players who qualify must have a Melee.gg account to participate in the Regional Championship.
If you win, the email submitted for your Regional Championship qualification must be the email associated with your Melee.gg account.
